Your glasses are needed again
Once more I am helping my friend by collecting glasses to be sent to Malawi. Many people there desperately need glasses. Children are being taught braille when all they need is a pair of glasses. If you have any used glasses, especially children's, please leave in the box behind the bar.
Many thanks,
Joan Heaven (Ladies Captain).
Ladies Autumn Meeting
At the ladies autumn meeting evening meal a cheque for £1,255 was presented to a representative of Weston Park Hospital for Teenage Cancer Trust. Many thanks to all who helped raise the funds.
Tip of the Week - Pace of Play
Aim to play in 25 seconds. From club selection to pre-shot routine to execution, strive to hit your shot in 25 seconds when it is your turn to play. Help keep play moving at a brisk pace.
