Hallowes Golf Club support for Cancer Care

The Captain of Hallowes GC, Vincent Gell, is delighted to hand over a cheque for £3,000 to Macmillan Cancer Support. We have run an auction and a number of prize draws and raffles throughout the year which have had the support of members and staff in many different ways. I cannot thank them enough for their unstinting generosity of my charity and we have exceeded all our expectations with the fantastic amount raised for a great charity.

Rob Turner, Fundraising Manager for Macmillan in Chesterfield said, "A huge thank you to everyone at Hallowes Golf Club for raising such a fantastic amount for our Appeal to help build the Chesterfield Royal Macmillan Cancer Centre. The new centre will mean people with cancer in North and North East Derbyshire will be able to receive their vital treatment, care and support in one purpose-built facility - providing joined up services closer to home."
