Congratulation to Jamie Simms (Division one winner) and David Rainbow (Division two winner) in the recent Saturday Medal.

A double celebration for Tom Brown in the Saturday Medal. Not only did tom post a good score of 70 to finish 3rd, but he also had a Hole in One in the process..!! ..well done Tom.

One of the most important questions you need to be able to answer in golf is "how far do you hit your clubs?" In order to know which club to hit in a certain situation, you need to know your exact carry distances.

A TrackMan Gapping Session gives you the relevant information to help you make the correct decisions on the golf course, saving you shots. During this session, you will hit a series of shots with every club in your bag to get accurate measurements for each club.

DJ wins big

How does a $15 million payday sound to you? For playing golf?

Dustin Johnson finally achieved one of the few things missing from his CV on Monday evening when he stepped off the 18th green at East Lake GC. Sadly, there were no fans to cheer him on, but DJ won the TOUR Championship and, as a result, the season-long FedEx Cup - the PGA Tour's order of merit.

If ever there was a deserving winner, it’s a man who finished the season T2-1-2-1; a run that started at the PGA Championship. Seeing DJ back to his best makes for beautiful viewing. There's a new ball in town

Wedges that work for you

Over the past few weeks, we've worked our way through the bag, from hybrids to irons and now to wedges. Each time we've been looking at what we want from each club and how it fits into our bag. So, how well do your wedges compliment the rest of your set?

TaylorMade Milled Grind 2 wedges

Our quest to hit the ball further has knock-on effects throughout the bag. It can only be a good thing if you're hitting your irons one or two clubs longer than previously, but it also means that the distance gap to your wedges gets bigger.

Our advice? Make sure you have three or four wedges in your bag that flow seamlessly from your irons. This is the part of the game where your score is made.

Make a change
