Why you should invest in golf lessons!
Have you ever wondered why the top professionals in the world, the ones who are competing for millions of pounds each week all over the world have coaches?
The pathway to playing better golf is completely unique to every golfer. There is more information available today than ever through social media and YouTube for example, but this information isn’t tailored specifically to you. This is the basic reason why you should invest your time and effort into golf lessons if you want to improve and enjoy the game more. A few reasons why you should invest in golf lessons:
|
1. It’s the best way to learn about your game 2. You can’t see what you’re doing, right or wrong! 3. Your current poor concepts could be seriously hurting your development 4. It’s an investment in yourself
With that in mind one of our PGA Professionals has some great options for you going into the season. Trackman lessons are available starting from as little as £35 for half an hour. A full 1-hour lesson is £55 with a package of three at £150…saving £15. To book call us on 01246 411196 or click here.

Junior Golf Camp Wednesday, 29 May
Further details about the Junior Holiday Camp are as follows:
Dates - Wednesday, 29 May
Time - 10:00am until 3:00pm. (Arrive 9.45am)
Cost - £25 per session
Food – There will be a short lunch break. Your child can bring their own packed lunch or order something from the kitchen on the day (chicken nuggets, burger, fish fingers, chip butty etc). The cost of this will be £3 - £4.
Golf clubs are not needed as the club has some junior clubs that can be borrowed. Your child will need to bring a hat, sun cream (hopefully), medication (if they need it) and they will need to dress appropriately for the weather. It can be very cold on the practice area and it is better to have layers that can be removed, rather than getting cold. They also need to bring a cold drink with them.
The camps are suitable for children from 8 to 16 and there are at least three golf professionals leading the sessions, which are all about fun, as well as learning to enjoy the game of golf. Hallowes and Moorview are looking forward to welcoming your child/grandchild on the days.
Please book in the Pro shop, you can pay then or pay on the day.

Most overlooked club in the bag? |
Thankfully, the penny has dropped when it comes to the importance of getting custom fitted for a new driver or set of irons. Unfortunately, we still see the vast majority of golfers overlook this process when it comes to their fairway woods, but why? |
| How often do you use yours? |
|
“I wouldn’t use it often enough” “It's too expensive” “It's not necessary” Yeah, I guess if you’re not concerned with shooting lower scores and maximising your potential then a custom fitted fairway wood isn’t that important. However, if improving your game is something you want to achieve, then having a full set of custom fitted clubs is vital, especially when it comes to gapping between your driver and irons.
|
PING G410 fairway woods One option that we'll certainly get you to try is this beauty from PING. A combination of its tungsten weight, forged face and low centre of gravity produce a fairway wood that is easy to launch and that flies miles, too.
So, let’s get you booked in for a custom fitting with a member of the team and harness your potential with the most overlooked club in the bag. |
