5 Day Membership
The Board of Directors have recently decided to slightly increase the number of 5 day playing members. Accordingly, any member over the age of 30 who would like to become a 5 day member (currently £815.00 per year) should express an interest in the first place by applying in writing or email to - secretary@hallowesgolfclub.co.uk by no later than Wednesday, 14 November 2018. No applications will be considered after that date.
If the numbers are oversubscribed, priority will be given according to age length of service at the golf club and a waiting list will be produced should further offers be made in the future. Please note that expressing an interest is not a guarantee that the request will be granted and it is recommended that members are fully aware of the restrictions of being 5-day members before expressing an interest.

Preferred lies Now that the clocks have gone back and we find ourselves edging towards winter, many golf courses will have introduced a Local Rule for 'Preferred Lies'. When this is in force, it allows you to mark, clean (especially important if your ball is covered in mud like in this photo) and place your ball within six inches of where it has come to rest, providing it was on a closely mown area - i.e. the fairway. If you're unsure on this or any other rule, please come and speak to a member of the pro shop team. |

Winter is coming, but we know that won't prevent you avid golfers getting out on the course to face biting winds, muddy shoes and, most of all, rain. Lots and lots of rain. With this in mind, it's more important than ever to have a golf bag which will keep your clubs and belongings dry during a downpour. |
Introducing Titleist's StaDry Deluxe This is where a cart bag like the StaDry Deluxe comes into play. You'll certainly be keeping your valuables dry if you opted to upgrade your golf bag to this offering over the winter thanks to Titleist’s StaDry waterproof technology, which ensures maximum coverage from the rain during your round. Weighing in at 2.9 kgs, it's also incredibly lightweight, making it easy to lift to and from the car boot to your trolley.
