Competition news

Thursday September Medal - Thursday, 7 September  

Congratulation to Neil Grassam (Division One winner) and Mark Farrell (Division Two winner) in the recent Saturday August Medal. Scores were as follows:

Division One - First place - Neil Grassam (79 - 11 = 68), second place - James Hannah (78 - 9 = 69) and in third place - Grahame Raines (81 - 12 = 69).
Division Two - First place - Mark Farrell (90 - 18 = 72), second place - Jeff Troops (91 - 19 = 72) and in third place - Tony Race (92 - 119 = 73).

 

Saturday September Medal - Saturday, 9 September

Congratulation to Bob Fawcett (Division One winner) and Martin Smith (Division Two winner) in the recent Saturday August Medal. Scores were as follows:

Division One - First place - Bob Fawcett (65 - 7 = 68), second place - Jack Hawksworth (78 - 9 = 69) and in third place - David Wild (77 - 8 = 69).
Division Two - First place - Martin Smith (91 - 24 = 67), second place - John Hardwick (86 - 18 = 68) and in third place - Paul Harwick (83 - 15 = 68).

 

Oldham Trophy 2017

Congratulations to Adrian Barber and Sue Goulding for winning the Oldham Trophy last Sunday. Full results were as follows:

Best Nett - Adrian Barber and Sue Goulding (93 - 23 = 70).
Best Gross - Craig Jones and Julie Elvidge (84).
Runner-up Nett - Jon Lomas and Jacqui Lomas (88 - 13 = 75).

  • Sunday, 17 September - Ladies Medal Finals, 8:30am - 9:15am and 1:00pm - 1:45pm.
  • Tuesday, 19 September - Regents Autumn Trophy, 8:00am - 10:00am.
  • Wednesday, 20 September - Ladies Autumn Trophy.
  • Saturday, 23 September - Ladies Stableford.
  • Sunday, 24 September - Knockout Finals.

Saturday Morning Junior Golf Coaching Roll-up

Our next session will be this Saturday, 16 September at 9:30am. These sessions are the perfect way to introduce children to the game of golf. Full details are as follows:

  • Venue - Hallowes Golf Club practice ground.
  • Date - Saturday, 16 September.
  • Time - Arrive 9:15am for a 9:30am start.
  • Price - £5 per child.

Members and visitors are invited to bring their children or grandchildren (aged 5 - 16 years old), to try golf for the first time. If you would like to book your place, please click here or call into the pro shop.
