Regents Stableford - Tuesday, 29 August

Congratulations to John Dakin who won the Regents Stableford with a great score of 43 points. Full results were as follows:

First place - John Dakin (43 points), second place - Michael Allen (41 points) and in third place - Les Dyson (39 points).

Sheffield Stroke Play Championship

Congratulations to Sam Bairstow for winning the Sheffield Stroke Play Championship at Silkstone Golf Club with a 6-under-par 67. Well done also to Stefan Priest for finishing runner-up with a 2-under-par 70.

Hallowes retain trophy - Sheffield Union Queens Jubilee

Father and sons - Perry and Lewis Siddall along with Neil and Tyler Upton, beat off all the competition to retain the trophy they won a year ago in the pouring rain. This year the sun shone, but with the renishaw course set-up with some tricky pin positions they returned a magnificent score of 125, beating second placed Beauchief (128) and Hillsborough (129) who were second last year, finishing in third.

Ladies Stableford Finals - Saturday, 2 September

Congratulations to Julie Elvidge for winning the Silver Division and Sue Goulding for winning the Bronze Division in the Ladies Stableford Finals. Full results were as follows:

Silver winner - Julie Elvidge (40 points) and runner-up - Cheryl Smith (39 points).
Bronze winner - Sue Goulding (32 points) and runner-up - Judith Race (30 points).

Scratch Medal - Sunday, 3 September

Congratulations to Sam Bairstow for winning the Scratch Medal last Sunday. Full results were as follows:

First place - Sam Bairstow (72 + 70 = 142), second place - Stefan Priest (70 + 77 = 147) and in third place - John Jarman (74 + 76 = 150).

Senior Scratch Medal - Sunday, 3 September

Congratulations to Michael Pomfrey for winning the Senior Scratch Medal with a score of 78 gross. Full results were as follows:

First place - Michael Pomfrey (78), second place - Mark Cooper (79) and in third place - Simon Whittam (79).

Veteran's Scratch Medal - Sunday, 3 September

Congratulations to Graham Pearson for winning the Veteran's Scratch Medal with a score of 79 gross. Full results were as follows:

First place - G.Pearson (79), second place - D.Slingsby (84) and in third place - A.Elliott-Clark (92).

Saturday Morning Junior Golf Coaching Roll-up

Our next session will be this Saturday, 9 September at 9:30am. These sessions are the perfect way to introduce children to the game of golf. Full details are as follows:

• Venue - Hallowes Golf Club practice ground.
• Date - Saturday, 9 September.
• Time - Arrive 9:15am for a 9:30am start.
• Price - £5 per child.
