Ladies Stableford - Wednesday, 23 August

Congratulations to Sue Ludlam (Silver Winner) and Sue Goulding (Bronze Winner) in the recent Wednesday Ladies Stableford. Scores were as follows:

Silver Winner - Sue Ludlam (36 points).
Bronze Winner - Sue Goulding (36 points).
9 Hole Stableford Winner - Lindsey Midgley (17 points).

Thursday Medal - Thursday, 24 August

Congratulations to Shaun Smith for winning Division One and Phil Ledger for winning Division Two in last Thursday's Medal. Full results were as follows:

Division One - First place - Shaun Smith (74 - 9 = 65), second place - Jack Wilson (70 - 3 = 67) and in third place - Jack Hawksworth (78 - 10 = 68).
Division Two - First place - Phil Ledger (87 - 17 = 70), second place - Brian Bellamy (86 - 16 = 70) and in third place - Mark Lincoln (88 - 18 = 70).

Texas Scramble - Saturday, 26 August

Congratulations to Rob Goodall, Karl Burton, Brian Fordham and Bob Purdy for winning the Texas Scramble last Saturday with a great score of 54.2. Score were as follows:

First Place - R.Goodall, K.Burton, B.Fordham and R.Purdy (59 - 4.8 = 54.2).
Second Place - M.Cardwell, O.Cousins, S.Congreve and P.Charlesworth (59 - 4.1 = 54.9).
Third Place - M.Wilson, S.Bairstow, J.Wilson and J.Moran ( 59 - 2.5 = 56.5).

Drabble Vase - Monday, 28 August

Congratulations to Phil Charlesworth for winning the Drabble Vase on Bank Holiday Monday. Scores were as follows:

Division One - First place - Phil Charlesworth (79 - 10 = 69), second place - Cameron Dawson (75 - 5 = 70) and in third place - Nigel Fisher (84 - 14 = 70).

• Sunday, 3 September - Scratch Medal and Senior/Veteran's Scratch Medal.
• Tuesday, 5 September - Regent's Stableford (8:00am - 10:00am).
  
• Wednesday, 6 September - Ladies Fun Competition (9:00am - 10:00am).
• Wednesday, 6 September - Derbyshire Alliance at Hallowes (10:00am - 3:00pm).
  
• Thursday, 7 September - Thursday Medal.
• Saturday, 9 September - Medal.

Saturday Morning Junior Golf Coaching Roll-up

Our next session will be this Saturday, 2 September at 9:30am. These sessions are the perfect way to introduce children to the game of golf. Full details are as follows:

• Venue - Hallowes Golf Club practice ground.
• Date - Saturday, 2 September.
• Time - Arrive 9:15am for a 9:30am start.
• Price - £5 per child.
  

Members and visitors are invited to bring their children or grandchildren (aged 5 - 16 years old), to try golf for the first time. If you would like to book your place, please click here or call into the pro shop.
