Ladies Sunday Salver - Sunday, 2 July

Congratulations to Claire Oates for winning the recent Ladies Sunday Salver. Scores were as follows:

Winner - Claire Oates (36 points), runner-up - Lynn Harrison (35 points) and in third place - Marion Kay (34 points).


Ladies Saturday Medal - Saturday, 8 July

Congratulation to Cheryl Smith (Silver Winner) in the recent Saturday Ladies Stableford. Scores were as follows:

Silver Winner - Cheryl Smith (80 - 2 = 78).
Silver Runner-up - Julie Elvidge (88 - 9 = 79).


Saturday July Medal - Saturday, 8 July

Congratulation to Shane Congreve (Division 1) and Anthony Grayson (Division 2) in the recent Saturday July Medal. Scores were as follows:

Division One - First place - Shane Congreve (78 - 14 = 64), second place - Robert Janicki (70 - 6 = 64) and in third place - Jack Hawksworth (77 - 11 = 66).
Division Two - First place - Anthony Grayson (82 - 15 = 67), second place - Mark Lincoln (87 - 18 = 69) and in third place - Tony Race (89 - 19 = 70), Richard Hammond (87 - 17 = 70) and Bradley Janicki (85 - 15 = 70).

Regents Stableford - Tuesday, 11 July

Congratulations to Brian Sayers who won the Regents Stableford with a great score of 42 points. Full results were as follows:

First place - Brian Sayers (42 points), second place - Gordon Taylor (40 points) and in third place - Keith Lomax (38 points).

125 Invitation Day

This is a message for all members who have entered the 125 Invitation Day on Saturday afternoon. We have reviewed the start time for the afternoon and to give everyone a bit of breathing space we have decided to change the start time to 2:00pm instead of 1:30pm.

If you are playing with a non-member please ensure you pass the information on to them.

Family Fun Day - Sunday, 16 July

Don't forget to put your name down for the Family Fun Day this Sunday. There are not many spaces left and we would appreciate it if you could remember to pay at the bar - £8 per couple playing in the competition and £5 for anyone just coming up for the afternoon and to listen to the band - Drive Me Home.
Food will be served from 2:00pm onwards and a vegetarian option will be available, but again, this must be pre-ordered. More information about the various events during 125 week will be emailed to you over the next few days.

Saturday Morning Junior Golf Coaching Roll-up

Our next session will be this Saturday, 15 July at 9:30am. These sessions are the perfect way to introduce children to the game of golf. Full details are as follows:

• Venue - Hallowes Golf Club practice ground.
• Date - Saturday, 15 July.
• Time - Arrive 9:15am for a 9:30am start.
• Price - £5 per child.
  

Members and visitors are invited to bring their children or grandchildren (aged 5 - 16 years old), to try golf for the first time. If you would like to book your place, please click here or call into the pro shop.
