Easter Fourball Betterball - Saturday, 15 April
Congratulations to Sam Bairstow and Jack Wilson on a fantastic score of 48 points in the Easter Betterball Competition last Saturday. The full results were as follows:
First place - S. Bairstow and J. Wilson (48 points), second place - D. Brack and F. Brack (46 points) and in third place - J. Millington and J. Millington (46 points).
Tasker Trophy
Hallowes' ladies played Mapperley Golf Club in an away match last week in The Tasker Trophy Knockout Competition. The team members were Julie Elvidge, Claire Oates, Sandra Barnes, Sue Ludlam, Judith Race, Marie Lethaby and Joan Heaven. The team won and are now through to the next round. A great win well done ladies.
Dual Success For Hallowes' Junior Members
Congratulations to both George Ash for winning the best nett score (66), and James Millington (68) for finishing runner-up in the Danny Willet Trophy 2017 in the Peter Cowen Junior Tour Event at Lindrick Golf Club last week.
Yorkshire Boys Under 16's vs. Northern Federation Under 16's
Congratulations to Luke Turner (Hallowes) who represented Yorkshire Boys for the first time in the Under 16's team match at Hartlepool Golf Club last Thursday. Yorkshire Boys won 12.5 points to 5.5 points. Well done Luke.

Par Three Fun Competition - Sunday, 21 May
On Sunday, 21 May (2:00pm - 4:00pm) we will be holding a par three fun competition open to golfers and non-golfers. The entry fee is £5 per pair including refreshments and the start sheet can be found on the club noticeboard.
Junior Meeting
We will be having a meeting on Thursday, 27 April at 7:00pm in the clubhouse for junior members and their parents or guardians. The meeting is to discuss the junior program going forward this year and also it will give you the opportunity to meet other juniors within our club.

Saturday Morning Junior Golf Coaching Roll-up
Our next session will be this Saturday, 22 April at 9:30am. These sessions are the perfect way to introduce children to the game of golf. Full details are as follows:
Venue - Hallowes Golf Club practice ground.
Date - Saturday, 15 April.
Time - Arrive 9:15am for a 9:30am start.
Price - £5 per child.
