Captain's Trophy
Despite the wet testing conditions there were some great scores in the Captain's Trophy over the weekend. Congratulations to the winner John Jarman, a superb performance not only over the two days but also on Thursday when he won the Captain's Mid-week Competition. The full results were as follows:
First place - John Jarman - 70 - 3 = 67 and 71-3=68 (Total - 135), second place - Josh Vardy - 77 - 6 = 71 and 77 - 6 = 71 (Total - 142) and in third place - James Murby - 71 - 2 = 69 and 76 - 2 = 74 (Total - 143). Lowest Gross - Gary Levick - 70 + 72 = 142.
Captain's Mid-week Competition Results - Thursday, 23 June
First place - John Jarman (43 points), second place - George Gordon (41 points) and in third place - Anthony Grayson (41 points).
Ladies Stableford Result - Saturday, 25 June
Silver Winner - Cheryl Smith (36 points). Bronze Winner - Judith Race (30 points).
Course Update

Steve and his staff have done a wonderful job in preparing our course in very wet conditions over the last few weeks. It's a pleasure to play on our greens.

Saturday Morning Junior Golf Coaching Roll-ups
Our next session will be this Saturday, 2 July. These sessions are the perfect way to introduce children to the game of golf. Full details are as follows:
Venue - Hallowes Golf Club practice ground

Time - Arrive 9.15am for a 9.30am - 10.30am start
Price - £5 per child
