Gillott Bowl
Congratulations to Geoff Thorpe on his victory in the Gillott Bowl over the weekend. Geoff returned two nett 69's on both days, which included eight gross birdies in his first round on Saturday. Full results were as follows:
First place - Geoff Thorpe (69 + 69 = 138), second place - James Murby (70 + 69 = 139), third place - Mark Cooper (70 + 71 = 141), fourth place - Shane Congreve (69 + 72 = 141) and in fifth place - John Jarman (74 + 68 = 142). Best Gross - Gary Levick (75 + 73 = 148). Best First Round - J.Lomas (74 - 7 = 67). Best Second Round - J.Walters (91 - 22 = 69). Best Single Round - L. Parker (84 - 16 = 68).
Well done also to Neil Hawley for his hole-in-one on the fourth hole on Saturday.
2016 Match-play Competitions

This week in windy and testing conditions Alan Hope won the Regent's Jack Smith Rose Bowl with 35 points.
Lombard Trophy
Next Tuesday myself and Pete Dove will be playing in the Lombard Regional Final at Little Aston Golf Club.

Saturday Morning Junior Golf Coaching Roll-ups
Our next session will be this Saturday, 4 June. These sessions are the perfect way to introduce children to the game of golf. Full details are as follows:

Time - Arrive 9.15am for a 9.30am - 10.30am start
